I received my BA in Creative Writing from Houghton College in 2014 and my MA in Applied Linguistics from Old Dominion University two years later in 2016; these fields have constituted my two loves for most of my life. When I write, I find inspiration in film scores (especially the work of Thomas Newman), nature, and my faith in Jesus Christ, whatever causes me to feel deeply and allows me to put some manner of the Sublime into words. I am also a modern art aficionado, a friend to all felines, and a proud Ravenclaw. Currently, I make my home in Tidewater Virginia.
